4 out of 5 stars Not my favorite expansion pack, but still good.   September 25, 2008
Good Points: Going on dates makes having your sims fall in love more realistic, and hello, they can have cars now! That means you never have to call a taxi (or miss a carpool) ever again if you don't want to.
Bad points: Vampires. Even if you want your sims to be one, it is next to impossible to build up enough relationship with one to get bitten, because the vampires build relationship more slowly than the active sim. And if you stay out all night trying? Your sim is likely to die the next day of starvation because they go to bed as soon as they get home and don't get to the fridge on time. Trust me, I've seen it happen. (Of course, that sim's house was too small for his family anyway, so that was probably a good thing. Then again, since I have Sims Apartment Life as well, and they rented, the landlord probably hates that family.)

I just love the Sims & have finally got this EP. Great fun to play, especially with the vampires !

4 out of 5 stars Wonderful Addition to Sims 2   August 4, 2008
This is actually the last expansion pack I got (well aside from Apartment Life) because I wasn't interested in it but I was very happy with it! I love the downtown and the houses that are there as well as all the places to go. Another really cool thing is the photo booth because you can put the pictures on your wall. And the cars are pretty cool even though I already loaded some from Sims2.com.

My kids loved this game. They play it all the time and they think that the new features in Sims 2 Nightlife are awesome. I recommend it.

3 out of 5 stars Expansion Pack adds new aspects of playability   May 15, 2008

I don't care for this expansion pack. The added benefit is vampires, but they can't work or go outside during the day or care for children properly, so they're a hindrance. Changing zones to go downtown takes forever so I never bother. The nightclubs are fun, but not necessary.
