4 out of 5 stars Interesting title from the makers of black and white   July 8, 2008
Originally bought this game for a class, but I was immediately engrossed in the game-play and logged 15+ hours on it. It features a simple enough third person interface and is really quite enjoyable to play.
Combat gets a tad repetitive sometimes and the choices that you are able to make are over-hyped, as your alignment can be readily changed and there are no serious game-play differences between the two extremes.
The story is compelling and has its twists and turns, and the dialogue often contain hilarious innuendos and jokes.
Its a shame that you cannot customize your hero's physical features and replaying the game a second time to try alternative choices actually turns out to be extremely dull as not much of the storyline changes.

Overall its a great game to play through the first time.

4 out of 5 stars Great Game   May 15, 2008
I bought this because it was inexpensive. I was quite suprised to find out how much fun it is. It is simpler than Oblivion and more linear, but it is very entertaining. If you like RPG's I recommend this highly. I beleive Fable 2 is coming out next year. Try this first to get an idea of what to expect with newer graphics and open play.

3 out of 5 stars pretty good   April 6, 2008

its a pretty good game to play. i wasn't one of those dorks waiting for the game to come out when all the hype for it was going around (i was a dork waiting for other games because i only had a PS2).

so this was pretty great for me. i will admit like many others say "oblivion is better". but this is a good game in its own right. the limits arent so great though. you can only a guy, a white guy, can't really explore. theres also really only one story to follow theres some mini games and side quests but they don't offer any interesting side story. the only thing it offers is having sex, being straight , gay or bi, getting married a bunch of times and these things are all pointless

another annoying thing is that when you are purly good you turn blonde...whats up with hat. its enough that the guy is blue eyed, but now this game is telling me that people with dark hair are evil.

its alright game and i got it for 10 bucksbut if i had gotten it at 50 dollars it would have been a waste.

if you've played oblivion dont buy this. if you do however like GTA titles or games that claim to be non-linear/free roam, then get this

3 out of 5 stars Just got it   March 25, 2008
Just got this game last week after hesitating. I have Vista and I had seen that it wasn't supposed to run on Vista, but it installed and is running with no problems (yet), woohoo. I've only played a few hours but it seems to be an interesting game so far.
