Great Night Time Keyboard August 12, 2008 This is a great lighted keyboard: the red back lite is adjustable and plenty bright enough, size is perfect and hand rest works well. Only minor quibble would be that some letters could be larger for easier reading but if you touch type you wouldn't even notice.
Saitek backlit keyboard July 26, 2008 The Eclipse by Saitek is one of the best keyboards I've used. The backlit keyboard is sharp and easy on the eyes.
Great keyboard July 23, 2008 I think this is best back lit keyboard for the price. It glows really bright when it's dark and is still very noticeable in a well lit room. I get compliments from everyone who uses it. I have had it for 7 months and haven't had any problems with the paint coming off yet and I don't think I will have any. I would agree that the keyboard doesn't tilt up that much at least compared to normal keyboards but for me it's perfect when the flaps are folded out. The wrist guard works very well too. I have never used one before but I think it has actually improved my typing.
Awesome gaming keyboard July 14, 2008 The Saitek Eclipse Backlit keyboard is awesome. Most of my gaming is done at night in a darkened room. I am not a touch typist, so having the keys light up is fantastic. I play Call of Duty 4 and my scores have doubled since I got the keyboard. The keys are soft and work well on none gaming functions as well. I've seen the blue-lit keyboard in action, and the red-lit keys are definitely the way to go.
Best backlit keyboard, for the price July 7, 2008 Comfortable to use, very quiet to type on. Letter brightness is adjustable, but could stand to be brighter. I didn't want to take a chance on the lettering wearing off like some people talked about, so I followed the advice of another reviewer of putting clear coat nail polish over the keys and it worked like a charm. No signs of letter wear after over a month of heavy use. Very basic, very comfortable keyboard. For the price, it really can't be beat (as back-lit keyboards go). The downside? It didn't come in green, so I had to get a different board for myself to match my current pc motif, but my wife enjoys it along with her matching red Razer mouse.
Never had a single problem with this device.
