3 out of 5 stars My review   May 4, 2008
Excel seems to be okay (not much different from prior versions)...
Word is pretty annoying..the top commands/options are not only out of place (compared to prior versions) but are difficult to find (ie Save File As, is in a completely different dropdown, which I had difficulty finding). Oh well, i got it for $119 (less a $30 discount for opening an amazon account). I'm not too familiar with OneNote, so I don't have an opinion

While the ribbon feature is excellent, this version of office is buggy. It takes many more mouse clicks than necessary to get the job you are doing, done. Especially right mouse clicks. You have to click and click, and then graphics come up and get in the way, so you have to click again to get the graphics away so you can begin the clicking process again. I am in the middle of a college paper, and it is a frustrating experience! Stick with office 2003 until the next version comes out, which I hear is soon, and as the prices have dropped fifty dollars - might be the proof.

3 out of 5 stars Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student   May 3, 2008
So far the product has performed all that I have tried to do with it. Having upgraded to this from Microsoft Office 2000, however, I find it frustrating that so many changes have been made such that it is difficult to find common commands that were easy to use on Office 2000. "Why change it if it ain't broken!"

4 out of 5 stars Low Cost same product   May 3, 2008
The software is the same as buying it off the shelf at a retail store, but through Amazon it is cheaper. I received it in two days even though I selected the free shipping option.

5 out of 5 stars MS Office 2007   May 3, 2008
I went from Office 97 to 2007 so it took some fiddling around to find the functions I wanted but it was worth the effort. Power Point 2007 is a big improvement over the Power Point 97 that I was using.
It is a little embarassing to relate that the most difficult part of the whole operation was opening the box to get the program disk. After some cussing and fussing (and considering the use of a hack saw) I got it to open. It is not what you would call intuitive.
