Everything as advertised February 19, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The product was exactly what I ordered, and it came in a timely fashion. I had a little trouble installing it while my Trial programs were still working, but after they expired, I had no problems at all.
Microsoft Works 2007 February 19, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I still have done a lot with this as I am taking a course to teach us about it. The little I have done I am pleased with the product.
Be careful - you get what you pay for ... February 18, 2008 There are two things to note when you buy this product. First, it does NOT contain Outlook email. If you are looking for that, you will be disappointed. Second, you may find the 2007 version of the applications to be QUITE different from previous versions. The menus are changed to be more consistent between current applications (e.g., Word now looks a lot like Excel, etc.), but do not look much like prior applications. If compatibility is important, be careful to set these up to save in the "compatible" mode with earlier versions - and test it - or again, you may be disappointed! This product works pretty much as advertised, even though it takes up a TON of memory.
I Love It! February 18, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Maybe because I'm a casual user and really didn't use the previous version all that much but this version is wonderful. I love the ribbons. The help section is great also. My 14 year old son is impressed also. He spent a few minutes working with excel and powerpoint and declared both much better and easier to navigate than the older versions.
More for your money February 18, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
What I wanted was Word 2007, but when comparing price Word alone was more than what you get with Office 2007. Home and Student does limit you to only 3 installs but that should be enough for 1 household. Well worth the price.
