Well, for 8.99 after a $30 rebate I can't complain. It's a nice little web cam with a nice short cord which is good if you only use it on your laptop. Clip works okay but is not real steady. It is good enough though. The cam does not work well in low light even with the low light boost. I compare it to my other Logitech QCAM V-UAX16 QuickCam Pro 5000 which is now obsolete but the old one is sharper and is better in low light and the color is a bit more true.

This is a nice webcam with good quality video, but I could not get it to work properly with Skype. All I could see was a B&W video with bars, works well with Yahoo. It also has some issues with automatic adjustment of contrast in uneven lighting, unlike my previous 3com homeconnect webcam which broke :(

No drivers needed! Both video and sound worked - may have to change sound preference from line to camera. Tested with Photobooth; iMovie still requires a Firewire based unit.
However, this unit is really meant for a laptop and doesn't clip to a LCD display (to thick).

Worked just fine out of the box. I use it to work with my collaborator using Skype...it has all the features needed. I was dubious about the mic but it works well without picking up feedback from speakers. Well made.

I originally purchased this web cam from Dell after shopping 2 retail stores.I found it on Amazon.com for 24 Dollars less than Dell. This camera had more features than the two I saw at the retail stores. I returned the web cam to Dell.I also checked ten other web sites for the same product, and found Amazon.com to be the cheapest. Plus Logitech was offering a Rebate so the camera cost me less than ten Dollars, with free shipping and no sales tax, it was like I got it for free. Logitech is a name you can trust, for quality and features and it fits perfect on my Lap Top. The sound and picture quality is phenomenal.
