 Misleading pricing May 21, 2008
Haven't used the product yet, it just arrived today, but it turns out the advertised 20 dollar rebate is actually an "upgrade rebate," and the fine print says I have to have proof that I bought a specified earlier version or a comparable competitor's product within the past 6 weeks. Yow, 6 weeks and I'm upgrading. Not likely.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 6
I make website graphics for fun and a little profit and currently have the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 and was looking for a newer version in hopes of different and new editing features. I purchased 6, expecting to be able to make graphics, and was terribly disappointed because all it does is edit photos. Why did they take away the option to create images from scratch and only offer the ability to edit/manipulate premade images?
I got a full refund, but I wasted my time on it. Information like this really should be in the description.

I recently purchased Photo Elements 6 through a recommendation of a professional photographer. He knew that since I was a 'family historian' that I dealt in the restoration of old photographs. Since purchasing the software I have 'restored' several old photographs and am very happy with the results. You can now distinquish the faces and the marks and creases are all but gone. A phenominal software. The ease of use for a person like myself is a plus. I definitely recommend this product for anyone.

I heard about the program from a few users and found it to be easy to learn and fun to use. I would like to have gotten something like this much earlier, but I was still using software programs available from my camera.
