2 out of 5 stars kane's wrath   June 4, 2008
command and conquer 3 in general is fabulous however, kane's wrath is a dissapointment due to the fact it really doesn't add anything to the game and it doesn't add any new factions either. It just spins off the exsisting factions. go get C@C 3 but hold of on kane's wrath.

4 out of 5 stars Good but left you wanting more   May 30, 2008

The actual expansion works fine except one level that's a little buggy namely tacitus interuptus which has some problems giving credits for objectives. Aside from that the game is a nice change of pace since it goes through the tiberium wars 2-3. The only main annoyance i had was that it only had the nod campaign to test out the new units and specials so you have to test GDI and Scrin in skirmish / multiplayer. If your only buying for multiplayer or are considering getting it in the future now is the time because the game comes with a beta key for red alert 3 which looks very good.

3 out of 5 stars until it is patched , don't bother!   May 26, 2008
It's a great game. My friend and I like to team up against the computer. Let the computer build up, and then try to fight our way in. Definitely creates a challenge. This Game does deliver on that aspect. Each faction has an enemy faction that is tough for them. So set the enemy to random and get ready! Now for the problem, with the desync errors and the cnc3dat errors which are prevelant all across the web. Until EA bothers to put out a patch and fix these issues. I would just save your money.

1 out of 5 stars Fun game within a game!   May 26, 2008

EA has masterfully done it again! This time they have taken a whole new innovative approach to gaming and made a game WITHIN a game. The game on the box - Kane's Wrath is fun, but even more fun is the BONUS GAME - called "getting it to work!" You'll enjoy countless hours of fun restarting your game and even your whole system! How long can you go before it crashes? Can you break your last record? Join the online community at EA Tech Support and make new friends with thousands, yes THOUSANDS, of other people - trade tips and share suggestions! Brag when you get your game to work for over twenty minutes! They will all admire you! To add to the realism the staff at EA will occasionally post a cryptic comment about a vague fix they are working on that will end the game within the game - but gratefully they have not done it yet! (Rest assured, they have many games with similar isues, some years old, where they have said the same thing; and they haven't ended the game within a game with those yet!)

So go ahead and buy Kane's Wrath. Expand and grow your patience by exercising it every time you play!

2 out of 5 stars Key MP features don't work- skip this game   May 15, 2008

First off, if you only play C&C for the single player then buy the game, you'll like it. It's a little slower than Tiberium Wars, but not terribly. Also I cannot speak for the online gaming; haven't bothered with it but I hear it is flawed.

The main reason I give KW a low score is because network games that played just fine in TW no longer work in KW... a high number of games are plagued with a de-sync error that will not let you finish. Also, if you are buying for the Risk-like Global Conquest mode, don't bother... you are not allowed to play against humans as the manual implies.

So, months later the gamers are stuck waiting for a patch. EA has really bungled this one with an untested, rushed, buggy piece of junkware. They are not doing much to address the problem and their support # people are clueless. C&C is made for multiplayer, and this game does not deliver... I wouldn't even recommend C&C in the future based on this, and I've been a fan for many years. Westwood and even Blizzard did much better in the past.
