4 out of 5 stars Great game   October 1, 2008
I bought this after my brother allowed me to borrow his Napoleonic Wars game (Cossacks). Game is a lot of fun, but not much in the way of replay-ablility. Works fine on my windows Vista and GeForce graphics card.

In the way of the gameplay, it is hard at times. It may just be me, but I have a hard time coordinating thousands of soldiers, so at some times you need to be patient. Otherwise the game is very technical and takes terrain height, type, and almost anything else you can think of into account when moving your troops.

Great game

1 out of 5 stars Och I'm disappointed...   September 25, 2008
I was so excited when i got this game. i saw bits of it on youtube and i heard it was great. but apparently it is not compatible with nVidia and Windows Vista (guess why >=( ). Both my current computer and my newer, crappier Vista computer will not work with it so i am a wee bit pissed off. wish they had mentioned this in the description.

2 out of 5 stars Disappointing to say the least   May 14, 2008

This could've been a better game. What ruins it for me is this- the game comes with no manual. You have to print out a ton of instructions if you want any kind of instructions. The game does have a tutorial, but it goes so fast and there are no back buttons and it doesn't show how to do many of the key elements in game play.

Another pain in the rear is having to sit through the very long intro every time you'd like to play. The intro has excellent graphics, but the game doesn't. Also, the camera is a pain to get in the correct areas, mine kept going off the map chart after I had barely moved it.

It's an interesting game idea, which is why I initially purchased this. I'm disappointed because, it could've been much better.
