Only Buy This Product if You Need To January 27, 2008 Stop,if you are happy with Office 2003 or earlier versions, I see no compelling reason to upgrade to Office 2007. I have been struggling with it for a week and I feel like I am starting all over again figuring out where the command functions are in the 2007 versions of Word and Powerpoint. This version is obviously a delight to the developers and a plague to those who have to relearn what we knew before. Plus I found that Power Point really bogs down on my 2-year old laptop, even though I have 1-gig of RAM. This is Microsoft bloat-ware at it's finest. If you can live with an earlier version of Office, I recommend you do so. I am reloading my Office 2000 and will only use Office 2007 when I have to convert a file to a more current format for business use.
Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 January 27, 2008 I haven't had much time to "play" with this yet, but have been amazed at the features of Word and Excel as well as Powerpoint. I have "practiced" making spreadsheets and making letters unique instead of "run of the mill" documents. In fact, I can hardly wait until I can have a couple of uniterruped hours just to delve deeper into all of the goodies.
An Innovative Must Have! January 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Excellent choice for students or for anyone who doesn't have much use for all the other mumbo-jumbo programs that MS Office Business or Professional offer. This is much different than the older versions of Microsoft Office but I'm so glad. The layout is fresh, new, and a bit of a challenge to get at first, but once you do, you will find that it is extremely user-friendly. When you once had to seek and find for different things to do with the document now it is either staring you right there in the face or just another tab away. The challenge is figuring out which tab it would be under so you won't have the traditional "File, Edit, View,..." They will be labeled as something else (sorta like a binder 5 tab format at the top of the screen) but you can get it...just be patient and play with it which won't take long. I love the added fonts, designs, and overall ease of use. The new powerpoint features, added art stuff, and easy layouts are a plus for those who do presentations and what not. This is the best product and it gives you the opportunity to save your work as the older version still so those who haven't upgraded can still view your work. MS One Note is also great because for all those times that you wanted to save a picture of a website, pdf, etc...and ADD your own info to it...well, now you can. Great product and great buy on Amazon. Don't look elsewhere, trust me! You won't regret it. I'm even going to take a class to learn more about the programs. So worth it!!
Microsoft Office and Home Student 2007 January 23, 2008 Received the item in A+ condition and installed easily. It is a bit frustrating when first using Excel as the Home version toolbar is quite different from the Professional. Other than that, no complaints

Excellent service! I barely hit the enter key and it was delivered to my door. What better service could that be? Thanks
