3 out of 5 stars It's just OK!   October 11, 2008
Well, this is my everyday mouse. At first i was amazed by the mouse because it was my second optical mouse replacing a cheap logitech optical mouse. After almost 10 months of using it, i'm no longer amazed. First, the sensitivity increase buttons are too sensitive. I always pressed the button to lower the sensitivity every time i used the scroll wheel in the middle of games. Second, clicks sometimes didn't work. This happened when using applications or gaming. After a while, i realized it was because of mouse sensitivity too, so i ended disabling the sensitivity buttons to play games and lowering the sensitivity manually to click without problems. At least SetPoint software worked for something. Overall, just an OK mouse. Perhaps i got a bad mouse. It will be replaced soon.

5 out of 5 stars Best FPS CSS mouse!!   October 9, 2008
I am a css player (yes i am also a cal-im baddie). Owned many mice include the razer daimondback, ms intelli 1.1a, razer deathadder, and logitech g5, and the steelseries ikari optical. All of the above are great mice for css. But the fact I would like to point out is that the mx518 beats out all of them. My previous mouse was the deathadder, liked it a lot had it for a couple of yrs. Never tried the mx518 even though it came out for a while now. Now that i got it, love it even more. Threw my deathadder aside and this became my baby!!

4 out of 5 stars razor replacement   September 22, 2008
Logitech's Gaming Optical Mouse is what I chose to replace my worn down optical razor mouse from two years ago. It doesn't have as many side buttons as the razor did, but it was very rare for me to use all the buttons. Leaning around corners with this mouse is taking a bit to get used to doing. For the slightly discounted price I got this mouse for I am very pleased with how it does in 1st person shooters.

5 out of 5 stars Great gaming mouse   September 16, 2008
Very pleased with this product. Easy to use, plug & play setup. Kind of big for my hand but oh well. I use it to play World of Warcraft & I haven't had any problems with it at all. The side thumb buttons are very convenient to keybind.

5 out of 5 stars Great Mouse   September 15, 2008
I originally purchased this mouse for gaming, but haven't had much time to play games but it has been flawless in other applications, XP, Vista and Linux. Feels great and is very accurate. I have never had any trouble with Logitech products and recommend them highly.
