Works in australia, does not work in western europe or asia ... if you don't feel like searching for a power adapter in a foreign country, don't buy this ...
Careful for the fine print! July 2, 2007 12 out of 14 found this review helpful
Read the fine print on this -- this product does not convert or reduce electrical voltage -- essentially what this does is provide a physical way for (insert your country's) plug to fit into (insert destination country's) plug. So if the country you are visiting runs on, say, 220, make sure that the device you want to plug into it can handle the 220 volts so that it doesn't blow up -- and that information will (typically) be handily located on the device itself (i.e., look at the small print on your phone charger, and see if it says 100-240V 50-60Hz)
Worked well for trip all through Europe June 27, 2007 This product worked for my iPod, Camera, and Cell Phone as I practically used every plug possible! It rocked. The only complaint I have is with the continental European plug. Because of the ground prong on the outlet the adapter is forced to be longer, and therefore not as stout as the other plugs.
I would recommend this, but it has a potential to break in the future.
Kensington 33117 International All-in-One Travel Plug Adapter June 27, 2007 0 out of 6 found this review helpful
I find the adapter easy to pack and use. Follow the instructions and it works.
Always take 2! June 26, 2007 This one broke on the 2nd day. Luckily, I took another model with me as well so I wasn't stranded. Ended up buying another one on the plane. I like the all in one feature though.
