Good but not great ! October 6, 2008 Overall Garmin Nuvi served the function that it is supposed to do. This is my first Navigator. I would rate it Good but not great ! I am not comparing it to any other product but just with my expectation from the product. It has a huge start up time of about 5 minutes.. by the time it figures out where the car is located. Another thing I did not like was, when the screen is locked, it just shows that screen is locked.. instead it should show where you are located. Other than those, I am pretty happy with the gadjet.
Great GPS October 6, 2008 We love this GPS it is so small and slim. It has a ton of features and is 95% accurate on locations and directions. We have had only 2 occasions where the GPS has not shown proper coordinates and that was because the roads are new. My husband emailed the company and they said they would add the roads in their next software update. All in all a great little GPS - we bought one for my mother for her birthday and she loves hers too.
Good unit for the price October 6, 2008 I like this unit. It is nothing fancy, it gets me where I need to go and that is about it. The restuarant and shopping finders are not the greatest. I had a Lowrance before and that was more accurate, but the Garmin is a good unit for the price.
not as good as expected October 6, 2008 The product fell way below my expectations. I have used navigators before, this one took a while to get the coordinates and would sometimes get confused on a location and would keep on giving wrong directions even after we arrived at the desired location. I would rather pay a little more for a better product.
Garmin Nuvi 350 Review October 6, 2008 Got it, used it, and I love it. I had it for 10 minutes and on registration it was updated to the 2009 version of the maps. Works great, callsout the streets and it has many many POI's. For the price it was fantastic. The 3.5" screen may be small to some, but I find it quite adequate. It also has a small profile that doesn't inhibit views out the windshield.
