Nuvi Navigator April 15, 2007 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is an excellent tool for the traveler. I just started in a new territory and could not have performed this job without it. Graphics are clear. However, there were a few roads not loaded into the system. Other than that, I rate this product 4 stars.

Germin 350 GPS April 15, 2007 I used it right out of the box, took a trip, and it worked faultlessly. I had many detours to contend with but it got me right back on the right path. A great product.
Nice product. April 15, 2007 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This product is very nice and smart, runs good. Very easy to use. Recalculate fast. But, sometimes, when start up, it costs a long time to acquire signal . That's why I didn't give it 5 stars.
Good price-value relationship April 14, 2007 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
With the sale price, this unit was a steal. It works fine, with a few exceptions, and the written instructgions are so minimal, they might as well have left them out. First, if the back isn't open, it doesn't connect to the satelite - which is not written anywhere.
Also, understanding where to turn took a bit of getting used to. The instructions first give you a distance to the next turn, then when it is time to turn, it repeats the instructions, but without the distance, i.e., "In one half mile turn right at Smith Road." When Smith Road is the next turn, it says, "Turn right at Smith Road." Other GPS I used, say, "Turn right now."
Lastly, if you have difficulty hearing, you might have problems with the sound quality (my elderly father can't hear it if the road noise is too great).
This is a handy gadget, and my family loves it - personally I'm sticking to using a paper map.
Exceptional product April 12, 2007 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This device is small, accurate, and very easy to use. I have traveled through three states with it and haven't gotten lost or missed a turn yet. The screen is plenty bright enough to read in daylight. The battery doesn't seem to last as long as advertised but the car adapter works just fine so that is no big deal. Voice instructions that call out street names are much better than the old style Left/Right type of directions common to other models. The SD memory card slot allows for convenient accessorizing. It's fairly resiliant too. I've dropped it a couple times and other than some surface scratches it works just fine. I've found that this Garmin is well worth the money, particularly if you are geographically challenged and travel a lot. Exceptional, highly recommended product!
