Easy to Use and Easy to Carry with You July 20, 2008 So easy to use and it's small enough to fit into a small purse. I love how the voice (male or female) warns you that a turn is coming. No longer trying to drive and read maps. Excellent for any traveler.
Garmin 350 Nuvi July 19, 2008 A little traveling jewel. I like everything about it with one exception. I cannot adjust the volume high enough when my grandkids are in the car. Simple to use, menu driven, accurate, very portable. I made a good buy with this one. Highly recommend it.
Garmin GPS July 19, 2008 Excellent GPS unit. Was a gift to my brother-in-law and he loves it. Uses it in his business finding addresses.
Great Value! July 19, 2008 An excellent value for this Garmin GPS. Extras were included that I didn't expect for the price.
From VA to TX July 19, 2008 There's not much I can say that hasn't been said before. After a bit of hasty research and some recommendations from others, I bought this model for my move from Virginia to Texas. It was indispensable; from finding gas stations (I preferred Shell since I have a card there) to finding food other than what's advertised on the highways, to getting a hotel room for the night when you can't drive anymore, it didn't hiccup one bit. That is, until I hit the really heavy construction in Houston where it went crazy. It would tell me to take a left where there was none, or to turn around in the middle of the highway. Oh well, I guess any other GPS would choke in the same situation. My only minor complaint would be the lack of a QWERTY mode for the keyboard which would really be great for the majority of us who can type. Even though I have a pretty good sense of direction, the Nuvi 350 was still great in helping me find my way around town when I arrived.
