Nice item if you want to mount it with a mount other than the one that came with the GPS. they should have made the one that came with it a universal one. To get the mount I wanted, I had to make 2 purchases for 2 different parts to make 1 mount. The one I wanted was the sand bag mount that sits on the dash.
just what I needed February 3, 2007
When I purchased my Garmin, it only came with one mount for one car, since I wanted to use also in wife's car I needed a mount for her car for my GPS. I knew just who to go to for it. ordered it and the mount came in couple of days. just what I needed. works great in her car, in fact I have used it on a trip we recently took. thank you for the great service, and top quality of the item....price was right also....I will continue to use you guys. again thank you...

After I bought a NUVI my suction dash did not suck any more then I decided to use the Mount and the Portable Friction Mount 2 months ago. It does work and I think it is better for the visibility to have my NUVI on it.

This mount brings my navaigation system closer to me and away from obstructing my view in the window. I used the "temporary" mounting strip as opposed to the "permanent" option, and it holds just fine to the top of my dashboard.
