 Good product for the money September 28, 2007
Bought this one for 199.99 refurbished. It works right out of the box. There are three issues I have with this product:
1: If you park in a garage it takes forever to get the satellite signal. Usually 2 minutes, sometimes more.
2: Some street addresses are off by up to 50 yards. But that may be an issue with the maps not the unit itself. The same problem occurs when I map the location with google earth. You will probably have the same precision problem with every other GPS manufacturer.
3: If you remember an address you'll be able to find it while on the road. But most of the time if I want to go somewhere, I just remember the name of the place (restaurant, bar, department store). The list of points of interest on the unit is not very comprehensive! If you don't know the exact location, good luck finding it with your unit. You probably want to store as many of your favorite locations on the unit beforehand, by looking up the exact address on the web before you leave the house.
Apart from that like the unit.

I HAD A TOMTOM STOLEN FROM MY CAR. I REPLACED IT WITH A TOMTOM I PURCHASED THROUGH AMAZON. IT IS A SUPERIOR PRODUCT AND A STRESS BUSTER. NO MORE GETTING LOST OR WANDERING AIMLESSLY. TOMTOM GETS ME TO MY DESINATION AND HOME WITH FAULTLESS DIRECTION. SINCE I AM ON THE ROAD A GREAT DEAL, THIS MEANS A LOT TO ME. I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AND AMAZON TO EVERYONE.

Works very well and I would give it a better review except the Holder stinks and the screen is very hard to see in the daytime.
Too Euro September 11, 2007
This GPS is really outdated, in my opinion, even with the lastest maps. It is too European and not North American, referring to Interstates as motorways. Very slow with entance and exit ramp directions. Not much voice response for directions. Had to stop often to "look" at screen. It is OK in familiar areas but traveling, I needed an Atlas because of incorrect routes.Called in many map corrections and never got a call back. POI's are very limited, no Menards?Called to get "Plus" for traffic alerts, not available in USA. Customer Service not much help, said I was the "only" negative call they received. Screen Size is a plus. So sad cause I thought I researched before purchase.
I am very satisfy with this product September 3, 2007
This is my first GPS Navigator and I choose after reviewing all comments from customers and articles, I find it very accomodating with my need and I am very satisfy with it. Easy to use, no need to read the manual, and with blue tooth I can use my cellphone hands free and good sound quality.
My only problem is to attached the suction to the car window, difficult and loose easily which somehow annoying while driving.
