I agree with the previous reviewer. The Carrying Case does not fit my Garmin nuvi 650! Very tight. Difficult to take out and put in. Maybe its because it's still new. You can accidentally turn the GPS on when you insert it in the case but I just insert it with the power button side going in first. Functional though and does protect it. It could be better though.

This was part of a "special offer" when I purchased my 650 -- "include this carrying case for a few dollars more" -- BE CAREFUL! The 650 will NOT fit into this case! I'm returning it, along with a nasty-gram to the marketing department!

Nice case and I really like the slide in design. My only feedback... why did Garmin get "cheap" with the 7XX Nuvi's (I bought this for a 760) and did not include one of these relatively inexpensive cases as they did with the 600 series.
Good holder May 15, 2008
Long sides are stiff and sturdy. Short sides are somewhat flexible. Top is open, but it fits perfectly, so it does not slide out. I the hot Florida weather, I take my Garmin in and out of the car all the time or it'd be destroyed. This case protects it like it should.
