This is absolute must for Garmin Nuvi 760 October 1, 2008
This keeps Nuvi solidly in place even on my husband's steep slope dashboard. The mount that comes with Nuvi 760 is not very good at all. I also like how this mount enables you to just quickly and easily disconnect the Nuvi and pop it in your purse and just stow the cord and mount on the floor out of sight with no suction cup tell-tale ring.

We've bought two of these to go with Nuvi 660's. They stay on the dashboard -- never once in many months of use has one fallen off.

Works good but overpriced and should have been included with the Garmin GPS I bought in California as the window suction mount enclosed is not allowed. Disappointed my old Garmen Streetpilot friction mount would not work with my new GPS.
Great Alternative September 30, 2008
The Friction Dashboard Mount is a great alternative to the suction cup which, in my experience, usually falls during a trip. This has happened more than once. I recommend this mount since it can be moved anywhere on the dash or between the seats (I can get a signal there) it will not slip.

This mount allows the unit to be positioned exactly where you want it for best viewing of the screen. Once it is positioned it stays where you put it. It makes it very easy to hide under your seat with out leaving tell tale marks on the windshield for a potential thief to spot. If you need to use your GPS in multiple vehicles, it is the only way to go.
