I am so glad I got this for my Nuvi 350. The suction thing that came with the Nuvi was always falling of my windshield (hot Florida sun?) and I was afraid that my Nuvi would break. With this mount it sits on my dash and NEVER moves, and it is more portable now too.
Stays put - easy transfer February 1, 2008
Bought the Garmin friction mount for my Nuvi 260. Hasn't budged an inch on the dash. Makes it easy to hide unit under the seat and to transfer from vehicle to vehicle.

What a great friction mount! Very easy connection to mount and no matter how sharp the turn, it doesn't move. Very, very pleased!
FINALLY - SOMETHING I CAN HANDLE January 31, 2008
I am so glad I purchased this Friction Mount for my Nuvi 200. My son has the suction one for his and it is satisfactory, but for my husband and I, the friction mount is best. We constantly transfer it from one vehicle to the other and this makes it easy. I also have a fuzbuster in my car and it is attached via suction mount. Suction mounts wear out, and you can only have so much to your windshield and still see. Spend the extra few bucks and save yourself some time.
Garmin GPS Mount January 30, 2008
This is the GPS mount you need to beat the thieves. It sits on the dashboard and when you park you can take the whole thing and hide it. There's no suction cup mount, nor circle on the windshield, to alert GPS thieves to break your window and steal your GPS.
