Friction mount January 27, 2008
We are very satisfied with this mount. It is safer and more secure than a windshield suction cup. It is much easier to pickup and stow away when leaving the car.

I was very reluctant to buy this item. I could not figure out how it would work from the picture. After receiving it I could not be more pleased. The little ball-like extension that you see is so that it can charge while on the mount. Cool! I drive on some very bumpy streets and have to take some serious curves and it never moves. My kids don't have to hold it! I don't have to look down while I drive. Heaven!
Do not be put off any longer. Buy it and hide it under your seat when you get out of the car. This is great!!!Nuvi & StreetPilot Mount
Portable Friction Mount January 27, 2008
We are finding the friction mount is great when we want to move our GPS from vehicle to vehicle. It sits on the dash firmly and does not obscure vision at all.
Best accesory for the Garmin GPS January 27, 2008
I received a Garmin Nuvi 350 from my kids for Christmas. It is great , I have so much fun just driving to the store with it. I had read some suggestions about mounting it and not to make it obvious that you have one in your vehicle. Even if you take the suction cup off the window it leaves a telltale ring on your windshield. The bean bag dashboard mount is the only way to go. It puts your GPS right where you want it. It doesn't slide at all, and you just take it off your dash and put it away any where you want out of sight. It is great, inexpensive and enhances your GPS.

Good alternative to mounting a permanent disk on the dash of your car. Nice product, but you'll probably want to order a power adapter, too.
