I bought this for a good friend as a christmas gift. At first he was
very excited to finally get one, until he used it. It slid all over his Dashboard every time he rounded a curve. Needless to say, we are both disapointed about this product.

This is the best product ever for a portable GPS. I would recommend this to everyone. The only way to have a better GPS is to have a factory one when you purchase a car, built into the dash GPS. Otherwise, this keeps the portable GPS from shaking or dropping from the suction cup it arrives with when purchased.

Between reading reports of car thieves scoping out cars with circular suction-cup spots and the suction-cup mount just plain not working after a while, this was the way to go for us. The mount works perfectly with our Nuvi 350 and doesn't move around on our dash (2002 Subaru Impreza.) It's solid and doesn't slide around, it fits in the glove compartment easily and leaves no indication there is a GPS in the car for any prying eyes.
Great product January 14, 2008
Well designed. Easy to use and move from one Auto to another without using the sticky disk. Especially since my state does not allow anything to be attached to the windshield.
