Fantastic mount! September 23, 2008

Based on the description and the reviews I purchased this, and I am VERY glad I did. I am not a fan of mounting things permanently to my car, and I really wanted something that could transfer to another vehicle easily--this little stand does the trick nicely.
I was truly amazed how this thing stood in place no matter how steep the slope on the dashboard and no matter how quickly you turn. I'm sure it is possible to knock it over, but it sure isn't easy!
I definitely would recommend this to anyone as it is affordable, quickly set up, dependable, and easily tucked out of sight when parked. 6 stars on this one.

Enjoy this product immensely, especially as it names the streets as it says the turn to take. I do not use all the bells and whistles, as I only need it for direction. It is 4.3", well lighted and easy to follow. One objection and that is that no manual is provided. I understand this is for sale, or you can download it in your compu;ter at home. The dashboard frictin mount (bought separately) is a must. It is easy to remove with the whole gps system. The price was right. No store can compete with the price. Thank you for your most expeditious handling of the ordere.

This is the way to go. Don't bother sticking the GPS to the windshield, don't bother sticking the GPS to your dash. Just get this thing and place it where you want on the dash and take it off the dash when you park. It's easy as can be and the device even stays put where it is placed on the dash. Must have some kind of new-age high friction material on the bottom.

I did purchase this product after reviewing what others had stated about their satisfaction. In summary: 1) It is convenient 2) It stays where you place it on the dashboard. I travel up & down a mountain road with extreme curves in places. The speeds that I attain do not effect the placement of the holder and the attached GPS [does not move]. 3) You can locate the holder anywhere on the dashboard. This eliminates a possible visual hinderance and nighttime glares off of the windshield. 4) Stows away easily. Just place on the passenger side floor or anywhere that is convenient. 5) Angle adjustment, just of the GPS, is extremely easy and secure in it's final placement. Bottomline: I WOULD BUY ANOTHER, IF I EVER MISPLACED THE ONE I HAD BOUGHT.
