Love my new toy September 18, 2008 This Garmin purchase was purely for fun. I drive less than 5 miles to work and don't tavel alot. Today I was going to a mall in Commerce. I had an idea of where I was going, but opted to use Garmin. On my way it indicated there would be a small delay. As I got closer the estimated time for the delay increased. After sitting in traffic, in an unfamilar area, for about 5 min. Garmin told me to exit. Then proceeded to reroute me around the clogged freeway. It brought me back on after the congestion was clear. I never would have got off on my own in that area. We were planning a trip to Mexico, and always get lost returning. I thought a navigation system might help us. I actually bought the Mexico maps to go with. This is the first time we made it to the border on the first try. The Mexico maps could not look up POI's like the preprogrammed. Oh well. The only draw back I have found, is the search. I'll use it instead of 411. I was looking for a restaurant I knew was there(for years). It could only find the chain 20 miles away. Not the one 2mi away. If that's my only complaint then all is good.
Good Unit, easy to use September 17, 2008 Garmin nüvi 350 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator with Text-to-Speech Good GPS, like it lots. We use our large screen installed GPS now only for big picture, as this one is limited in how much of the map you can see do to screen size. MSN add on is limited in information. Traffic hazards are indicated in an arcane manner. I didn't buy it for MSN, so doesn't matter to me too much.
Really Great Purchase - Worth Every Penny September 16, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I LOVE this GPS. I bought it for the cell phone blue-tooth capability primarily and it's very clear both for me and the person I'm talking to. I also used the free 1-year MSN Direct and it is also fabulous. I highly recommend this GPS for anyone - so many neat features and very user friendly - easy to use.
Awsome Garmin September 16, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ordered my first portable navigator from Amazon and I love it and also loved the price when compared to other stores! I love all aspects of the Street Pilot.
GARMIN sTREET PILOT c580 September 16, 2008 I haven't had the unit for very long but have used it several times and have found it to be reliable. It is easy to program routes . Really like the fact that you can increase or decrease volume very easily. I have yet to use the MSN that came along with it but have high hopes that I will be pleased with it... I would recommend this unit to anyone looking to purchase a GPS. Sharon
