5 out of 5 stars The Italian Countryside   July 7, 2007

When traveling inItaly this summer, the Garmin European NT maps was indispensable to help get in and out of those cities with smal streets and difficult addreses. It helped us get everywhere. On occaisin, it did not pick the best route. It did however, have a great knowledge base of places to go and other items.

5 out of 5 stars Great add-on to GPS   June 28, 2007

Bought this SD software for a recent trip to central Tuscany, Italy. Operated right from the start at home and was able to pre-plan various treks even before leaving the U.S. I have a nuvi 350, and the combination of CN Europe and the nuvi enabled perfect driving to and from my various visit points. It does show all the roads, big and small, and even when I thought it was wrong, it was right!! With a little research and the Garmin system, I was able to navigate from Rome to Tuscany to a small town, my accomodations and various sights. I heartily recommend the Garmin system of GPS and software to all travelers!!!

5 out of 5 stars Invaluable asset for traveling   June 22, 2007

We used the Garmin City Navigator NT SD Data Card on a recent trip to Scotland and Normandy. We had no diffuculy finding any of our destinations in the very rural areas we visited in both these countries. The card had an amazing amount of information, found the smallest of country lanes and gave us information about restaurants and attractions, even in tiny country villages. We could not have traveled with as much ease and confidence without it.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Addition to Nuvi 350   June 19, 2007

I just returned from a trip to the Alps, and this Europe street map card proved an invaluable asset. Essentially, it makes the Nuvi as useful in Europe as it is in the U.S. Aside from some laughably bad pronunciation (which was quite entertaining in its own right), this add-on is spot-on accurate - from big crowded cities to remote alpine roads. Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Simply Unbelievable   June 17, 2007

We are on the Italian Rivera right now; we just did a whirlwind tour of Tuscany; yesteray we went to Pienza; with the chip and a Nuvi 350 we drove right to it; with a map, you'd never find it; this thing is amazing; set to pedestrian mode it walked us to the AMEX office in Florence, up on way streets the wrong way as it knew we were on foot. Typical: "enter roundabout, take 2nd exit" "turn right in 400 feet" It had trouble finding the hotel up a long drive way in Siena; but, I set the location as save once we found it, drove right back to it in the dark; only problem is the power switech on the Nuvi 350 is broken; we are getting by as it turns on and can be turned off by applying AC power or DC from the car adapter; from previous Garmin experience, I'm sure it will be replaced. Also, just try and find Monteriggioni, not even on the map; the chip knows; also knows where hotels are and all the sights; drove us in and out of Pisa today and back to the hotel by the Arno in Florence coming back from Tuscany this morning, through back streets, most direct route, though one ways, and over the Arno. As they say, don't leave home without it. JWH
