 Good entry level GPS for the Amazon price December 14, 2007

I got the nuvi200 at a good price along with free Amazon Prime 2-day shipping. It's worked well for me with reasonable satellite access speeds. It's easy to view when placed on the dashboard (got the Garmin dashboard friction mount) and you also have clear voice instructions. Good entry level GPS, especially at the Amazon price that I got.

This little gadget is one of the best thing i bought in a long time. I use it whenever im lost or dont know were i need to go and it has worked well. A lot better than most stock gps units for 2000 dollars, i bought it for 203 dollars it dropped to 180 and amazon gave me the difference. could not be happier. It is simple it works when you want it to, it has a image viewer and converter etc, but im buying a gps, if i wanted all that i would look somewhere else not tom tom or garmin, i was not shure between the tom tom one or garmin 200, fortunatly i do not regret my decision at all. you wont go bad with this gps unit.

I had this for a few days then took it back to get a tom tom with the canada maps pre loaded This is the only reason garmin is really a generation ahead of Tomtom The us only map is quite a draw back to the buisness traveler if you don't go to canada or mexico I recomend this unit and have several times to friends and family.

Got the product for $222.00 after 3 weeks product dropped in price to $191 then a few more days went by and I saw the price drop to $169.00. I felt I got ripped off!

This is excellent design at its best. The product is compact in size with a large easy-to-read bright screen and extremely intuitive technology to use. I didn't even need to read the "how to" literature in order to get the unit up and running. Just came back from a business trip to Miami that required driving to several unfamiliar locations and my NUVI 200 performed flawlessly. As far as I'm concerned that one trip alone made the purchase worthwhile. The NUVI 200 truly is a great value for the money.
