The Garmin nuvi 270 navigator is great. I have been using this device locally in South Florida and for short trips and is amazing how accurate it is. I'm looking forward to use it for an European adventure during the summer, but I have already reviewed some of the maps for cities such as Madrid and Paris, and they look awesome.
I certainly recommend this product.

The Garmin 270 is very simple to use. It is small, but the screen is easy to see. I plan to take it to Europe this summer and hope the European maps are as reliable as the US ones! I love that it is portable and can fit into a little case, then into my purse.

I knew nothing about GPS when I started reasearching a christmas gift for my husband. I did hours of reasearch and read reviews and I decided on this one. My husband (who does know about GPS) was so excited and very impressed with my purchase. He uses it all the time, even to drive around town, when he knows where he's going. We haven't had a chance to try the European part yet (one of the reasons for buying this model) but hopefully it works just as well as the US. The price was shocking too, I found it at a local store for about $250 more!

This is a great product. So glad I purchase this model and I am really looking forward to using it in Europe. I even purchase the SD card with points of intnerest for Europe.

Garmin nüvi 270 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator This is very easy to install, set up, and use. The small screen is certainly large enough. Haven't used it in Europe yet, but it works really well in the US. The only downside is the included software which cannot be updated. In a fast growing city like Phoenix or Las Vegas, in a search by name or description, it will be missing anything that has opened, closed or moved in the past year, including businesses, shops, roads, and freeways. This can lead to wild goose chases. You really need to use the actual address whenever possible to solve that problem. Otherwise, I think it is an excellent product.
