This GPS is perfect and very user friendly. Update once a month through the Internet for free and plug in car, type in the location and go. It has eliminated many stressful arguments between my husband and me while we are traveling! We love it!
We found Amazon's price cheaper than any on Ebay!
Nice item with Canada map September 23, 2008
If you want a GPS with Canada map then you can't go wrong with TomTom, I purchased two of them for my sisters up in Canada and they love it.
However, I regret buying the unit from TigerDirect. Beware of purchasing stuff from TigerDirect, I purchased 2 TomTom One Xl and within 2 week they dropped the price another $20 per unit. When I called for a price adjustment they refused to give me one, their reason is the item number is different.
What Tiger direct does is they change the item number so that they can call it a different item even though the product is exactly the same. This way they don't have to refund/adjust your money. I never had a problem with Amazon on price adjustment.
Excellent Value September 22, 2008
I am surprised both pleasantly and technically. I have used this unit for a little over a week now and it is perfect. I can't imagine the price (currently $150.00) as being anything but a steal! Easy set up easy to use and accurate! What it does is tell you how to get where you need to be, it also points out gas stations. As well it tells you the street names of all those little quirky little alleys downtown that you never knew had a name! The wide screen makes it easy to read the on screen instructions but the clear crisp voice directions make it easy not to watch it. Excellent value, excellent device! I will be ordering another one for my daughter who is off to college- no worries about getting lost- you can't with this GPS hit the home button and away you go. Yes just buy it! Outstanding Value!

I realy like the tom tom the only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because i would have prefered a hard copy manual instead of a disc. I like to be able to read it and flip the pages rather than be glued to my computer. Overall it is very simple to use.
