Sounds simple, but it just works the way it should.
I'm travelling a lot between US and Europe and so I use it heavily abroad. This also works fine. Easy installation of new maps. In Europe I also added a TMC atenna which works also.
Probably not the cheapest device and not the device with the most features, but for me it does a great job (get from point A to point B in the shortest time).
 Its OK, but Im going to sell it for a Garmin, not happy with the map database April 22, 2008
I had a Garmin 200, and sold it to get this. I want my Nuvi back, it was easier to get started with, easier to find locations, and was more correct, though I have the latest map. I like the 4.3 " screen, but now realize the features, and street names is a better feature, since I really dont look at it once im driving.

I am so pleased with my purchase. I have used it several times now, and it has always taken me where I've needed to go. Highly accurate, easy to use. Voice Sound is easy to understand, Screen Size is awesome. I can't say enough good things about his product. You won't be disappointed.

My husband bought me one for Christmas and I love it. For our anniversary he wanted a Garmin. Two days after use he returned the Garmin because it was not as easy to use as the TomTom. So I ordered him one just like mine.

Was unsure of the reliability of tomtom until I was in Los Angles/Long Beach area of Ca for the first time, and it took me right to the entrance of every address I was looking for, and again driving from Eastern Virginia to Toronto, Canada with the same results. Very good companion, and very accurate.
