I have owned my Garmin 200W for 9 months. Now i cant do without it. It is worth every penny. Only problem is car charger always pops out of outlet in car when i go over a bump in road.

OK, first of all, if you want to use it anywhere on the East Coast, forget it! Because it's not real time it will always be a second or two too late. I have missed a lot of turns because this thing is LATE! But it is also not updated so many go-arounds or streets are not even there. New developments are not there. My brother has Magellan and it works sooo much better than this one! Also, there is no option to use mainly Higways (useful if you go on a long trip). Many times it will divert you to the surface streets just to save half a mile but will waste you an hour because of all intersections. Very frustrating. Other than that it works good and for the most part will get you where you need to be.

Garmin is the best GPS hands down! This product offers so much more besides step by step directions.I have one and I just ordered one for my in-laws. They love it!

I purchased the Garmin Nuvi 200W on 7/30/08 after quite a bit of research... I must say I absolutely LOVE this thing... It has saved me on more than one occasion... My friends have the expensive models but I opted for the one and I couldnt be more happy... The only thing the expensive ones do that this one doesnt is verbally say the street name but who cares... I have used this every day since I bought it... The only gripe I have is that it didnt come with the cord to plug into your computer to update it, but that is a small price to pay for such an amazing piece of equipment!!!

This is so easy to use!!! I thought it would be something else for my husband to play with but it is so easy to understand and operate that even I could use it!!! The first time we used it we made a 7 hour trip( one way)and it took us right where we needed to go. We have already gotten one for my oldest son!
