This GPS system is great! The only problem I have seen is that it takes about 15 minutes to boot up/locate satellites when I turn it on. After that, all is perfect and it gets me where I'm going!

This GPS appears to be an excellent system. I did feel that the accessories needed for AC charger and the USB cable for product updates should have been included with the purchase package.. The instruction booklet does not contain detailed info, for a first time user. The 2009 update was not included, which is coming out this month. Are we eligible for that?

i had mine for about 3 weeks the i think it the best one out there right now. this one would be the way to go because the pirce is low and you have the most uptodate maps out here, it may not have an MP3 player but it still does its job not getting lost and confussied. i bought a tom tom a year ago that product got me lost to a tip down town...
thats why i go with Garmin its the best GPS that you could get for a low price the voice that tells you where to get is nice so you dont have to look down at the screen all the time. You can also use this product for Pedestrian thats really good and for the Bicycle so you dont have burn anymore money out of gas ;). this GPS system is really handy for simple findings like where is the mall all you have to do is click the "point of interest" its that simple! well i hope that you found my review was good :)

read the reviews before purchasing this item, and worried that it would take the unit a long time to get a GPS signal. but am very satisfied with it (it takes 2-3 min before getting the signal from the satellites). certainly makes travelling easier and convenient finding not only destination, but also nearby restaurants, ATMs & even churches. money well spent

I purchased the Garmin nüvi 250W 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator for my wife. She was taking a 1,000 mile trip to take one of our children to the MAYO Clinic. The GPS worked flawlessly and its ability to recalculate a new route when the driver deviates from the prescribed route made the trip much less stressful. Since it was her first trip to a new city the ability to find any address she needed by simply entering it in the GPS took all the uncertainty out of an already stressful trip. This model is ideal for the novice. The features are outstanding!!!
