I bought this for my daughter(18),she uses it everyday. Now she never gets lost; easy to read, easy to use and for the money, GREAT.

I'm quite happy with the performance of this GPS unit. I purchased it as a second GPS unit because of the availability of maps for the UK, which we used on a recent vacation there. If I had known about the versatility and flexability of this item I would have purchased it as our first GPS device. I like the fact that there are many personalized user options and the ability to make corrections and additions to the POI's. My only complaint is it needs more memory. I had to remove the US maps to load the UK's. The process was simple enough but cumbersome. For the money it's a great unit.

I purchased the TomTom One 3rd edition and I am very, very happy with the purchase!
PROS: The small screen size has not been a problem, it is actually much more readable than I thought it would be. The sound on the directions is very easy to hear. The product is set up in a very intuitive way so it's pretty easy to figure out. On the first day after my purchase, I took a wrong turn on purpose and I was really impressed with just how quickly the Tomtom let me know that I'd made a wrong turn and calculated an alternative route.
CONS: Not as many Points of interests are listed as I would have thought. For example, I wasn't able to find a church or shopping center that I needed to get to.
It has directed me down a tiny gravel road that looked like a driveway, but when I passed that turn it quickly recalculated another route!
So, the bottom line is that this is an amazing GPS for people who would like to get one for under $200! Highly recommended!

I only rated it 4 stars because it doesn't announce the street names. They are printed on the screen as you pass them however. You will need to update this unit if you buy it new. There are a few streets here in Houston that deviate a little from the map, but you can make corrections as you go. I wanted a unit that was user friendly (it didn't take a geek to use it)and was affordable. There are better units out there with all the bells and whistles, but be prepared to pay for them. This one is fantastic in bang for the buck and cheaper than most and my directionally challenged family members can work it with no problem at all. Features like widescreen, etc might be nice for some, but for me I just wanted to be reminded when to turn and directed to my selected location at under $175 it has no equal; if price is $199 or more there are some other units to consider.

I bought this item for use in my business having liked it while working part time for another company.Taking customer calls on the go and then navigating to there residence has not been a problem.It very rarely cannot find an address.And when it can't I assume its due to a neede down load map yearly update.I would highly recommend the Tom Tom One to any one needing a GPS for Business or pleasure.
