The overall product is great. The cons would be the directions. When u miss a turn, it has a awkward way to get u back on course. it tends to lean towards highway routes than city streets.

I gave the Garmin to one of my grandsons for his 17th birthday. So far, I have heard only good reviews from him and his mother about the performance of the item. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great product; easy to operate; no need of a manual; great for people with severe directional and navigational handicap. I NEVER travel without it. Also, the price was very reasonalble. A super product, overall!

Pros:
1. User friendly / Easy to use
2. Text-to-speech
3. Resolution/brightness
Cons:
1. No regular power cord other than the car adapter
2. No cable to connect to computer for map updates
Working perfectly and it is a huge help to go places unfamiliar.
Garmin nuvi 260 GPS Navigator great buy... June 5, 2008
We have used the GPS system for 2 trips so far and overall we are very pleased. It made a few mistakes, for instance, a restaurant was no longer at the location it lead us to and a road was under construction (was not yet completed) that it wanted to lead us on. Other than that it was very accurate-easy to use and made the trip enjoyable as we kept switching to different languages for a bit of comedy.
