We had a Garmin laready but wnated a new owne for my wife's car. This model was ideal for her and she loves it! I bought the carrying case which she loves. When she reaches her destination; she just pops it off the mount and zips in the storage case and it all fits neatly in a pocket or purse!

GPS navigation units are one of the most stolen items from vehicles today.
I am so glad I purchased the excellent Garmin friction mount which can be easily shifted on the dash, hidden on the floor, placed in the trunk or your home/destination. Even if you remove your device from a windshield mount, there remains a mark which may result in a costly break in even if your unit has been removed.

We used our nuvi 260 in maui hawaii in February, and absolutely LOVED how magically it worked. Also loaned it to our Daughter and her family when they took a trip to Phoenix, AZ in March, and they praised the unit to no end. Loved it as well as we did. Quite a few helpful 'pages' that you learn to use, that aren't explained in the little pamplet enclosed.

This is a great excellend product. This is our first GPS system and it is a dream. Worth the price, awesome.
