nice screen, nice features. sometimes slow on catching a satellite.. don't know if other garmins have this problem but i assume the fact that it has an internal antenna might have a factor.

My Garmin 760 Nuvi is very useful and user friendly. The directions are clear and concise and, so far, get me where I want to go. There are many user settings that make this a very versatile GPS unit. I would recommend it to anyone who need this sort of electronic device.

I've done my research prior to purchasing the Garmin. If you do your homework you'll agree that the Garmin is by far the most favored. I've brought this thing on business trips in other states, etc. It makes traveling so much easier. It will greatly improve the quality of your life. I literally have thrown away all of my maps. Very simple to use too. I haven't even read the directions yet... onscreen icons made everything self explanatory. Excellent buy... highly recommend

definitely a great product. all the high points cited by other raters are accurate. only low points i've encountered are that it can be a little slow in acquiring satellites and the search function needs work. if you want to find Target, for example, you can't perform a "search all categories" for Target, it's too broad and it wont find any Target stores. You need to sift through it's predesignated categories first. Target is found under "general merchandise," but not all stores. Kind of frustrating sometimes, especially when searching for restaurants that dont fit into a neat mexican/japanese/french etc. category.
other than these weak spots, it's a great device and i'd purchase it again.
