4 out of 5 stars it works   May 28, 2008

I finally broke down and bought a GPS because my wife was in a vehicle that had one and was very impressed with the way it directed them to their destination with no hassles.

I looked into them and saw the NUVI as the standard GPS of choice. Others had more features, but every review I read said the map feature of the GPS was the most accurate.

Since getting to a location correctly was most important; I did not care about some of the other "perks" offered by the other vendors.

I do not have any other experience with GPS's, so I cannot say whether this is the best or not.

I just know it works. It gets my wife and family to their destinations without hassle.

5 out of 5 stars GPS, maps, points of interest and more . . .   May 28, 2008

This product is more than I expected. Unfortunately, I had to buy it twice because my first one was stolen out of my car less than a month after purchase. The thief smashed my passenger window to get it; in broad daylight. I quickly bought another and wish I had used the Garmin Lock feature on the first Nuvi so the thief or his customer could not use it. I now remove it from the mount when I park my car so that it is not visible. I have downloaded several books to the Nuvi from [...] and enjoy listening to books as I travel. The only improvement would be allowing simultaneous use of the maps along with the audible books.

Recently I had to find a house address in a rural area of northwest Washington that would have been almost impossible without the Garmin. It worked perfectly. I'm impressed with this model. It has all the features I want and is easy to use.

5 out of 5 stars I can creat a tour form my computer   May 24, 2008

I sell residential real estate. I'm selling more out of my usual territory so I wanted a GPS that I could load addresses and create a tour of 10-15 house at a time for a specific client from my lap top. I called Garmin and asked which model would do what I needed. They were very helpful. The 750 is the one. I can find address on google maps and down load them to the 750. I then pick up the client and push the button and never look at a map the rest of the day.
When I went on line to price one I found some a little cheap but I had no confidence in the vendor. I've never had an issue with Amazon before so it was a no brainer.

5 out of 5 stars First GPS, I LOVE IT!   May 24, 2008

This is my first GPS, & I love it. I bought the Garmin nuvi 750, after reading all the reviews, for a trip to Colorado. I have tried it out in town and it has been perfect, I have tried to confuse it, but recalculates perfectly. The only problem I have noticed is coming out of driveways it tells you to turn right, when you should turn left. Not sure about that? Overall though I think it is a great deal, for $299.00 at Sams Club.

3 out of 5 stars why no case?   May 24, 2008

Others who have purchased this exact item report that it came with a case to protect the screen when not in use. Ours, purchased from you, did NOT have a case. Why not?
