not good enough September 24, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
it's way slower than the model i had before which was older and cheaper. i'm really disappointed in this maggi. i'm hoping it's just a defect. i'm consulting specialist now to try and get an exchange.
gps magellan 3250 September 23, 2008 am very happy with what i got, very usefull, accurate and dependable. delivery was fast. no regrets. i got a good deal.
Magellan Maestro 3250 September 21, 2008 I am very pleased with this transcation and product. I upgraded from a different model Magellan and am very glad I did. I thought the price was reasonable and I couldn't really justify buying a $500. GPS.
Magellan Maestro 3250 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator September 18, 2008 This is a great system but has a lot of idiosyncrasies. For instance the voice command comes on without asking. Or it sometimes will not turn on. Maps are from 07 and it's 08 and will cost an additional $100 to update. This GPS should be your first pass.
Sincerely,
John Q. Sucker
Not a Good GPS September 14, 2008 I am a Realtor and I did have a TOMTOM one and sold it because it wasn't always accurate. So I decided to get the Magellan 3250 because it told you the street names and had all the other high tech features. Well I had to go show 10 homes in one day and the Magellan only could find 4 out of 10 homes. These homes were older homes so the Magellan had no excuses and when I called the customer service they told me I would have to pay $80 m more for upgraded maps. I sent the junk back and bought me a TOMTOM one xl and haven't had a problem yet. Also TOMTOM allows you to down load the newest maps for FREE. In my line of work I need the most up to date maps with out paying $80 every so often. I was going to try a Garmin as well but Garmin runs off the same Navigation company as Magellan. No GPS is going to no where everything is but over all the TOMTOM is worth the money.
