This thing is great. It is amazing how easy it is to use and accurate. If I second guess it, I am usually wrong. If you do a lot of driving looking for locations and addresses; this will be a blessing to you. Problems, several but minor, not deal breakers; but I wish TomTom would fix them. One, Text to voice for streets only works with the Susan voice. Add the Sylvia & Tim voices as these are my favorites. Two, add "Starbucks" as a POI category on the map. Many of us use Starbucks for coffeee & a business stop. Three, include a case for GPS unit. These additions will make this a more valuable GPS to have.

My husband bought this for me for Christmas, and I LOVE it! It was easy to program and very user friendly. I'm the typical female; don't know north, south, east and west when I get out of my comfort zone. The TomTom very clearly announces that I should turn "left" or "right" (none of the east/west stuff, yea!) I especially like that it shows on the screen the name of the upcoming road. Much easier to read than the actual road sign in our rural areas.

I bought this for my parents for Christmas. They didn't need anything fancy. They didn't need a picture viewer, an mp3 player, or any other fancy thing. They just needed a gps that would get them from point A to point B. Shipping was quick, and as soon as I received it, I loaded all of their job locations and favorite points of interest, since they do deliveries to a large chain back east. Overall, it was a great product, and playing around with it before I gave it to my parents, made me want one.

It is amazing. I'll never get lost again while on vacation or looking for a garage sale advertised in the newspaper. Very accurate. I like biking and walking and will have fun using my TomTom for these activities too since it has these modes. I like that it clearly states the street name too. Tom Tom One XL like it better than my bmw 550i built in NAV January 1, 2008

I have this setup with the extended arm in my wife's mercedes 2007 C230, and WoW! only took me about 5 minutes to learn how to use it compared to my 2007 Bmw 550I gps which may look superior but is difficult to use. I like this Tom Tom One XL interface way better. I highly recommend it to anyone that just wants a simple easy to use GPS, well worth the money.
