this gps is well worth the money and I have told all my friends how great it works. i use it for my business and this saves me time and money it gives great directions and the screen is big enough to where I can see it while driving thank you so much for having this at a reasonable price love it !!!

4 out of 5 stars Good entry level GPS   July 27, 2008
It's not a tomtom but works quite well. For the price you can't beat it. The gail talks a little too much but once you get the settings to where you like it a nice cheap GPS

4 out of 5 stars Good value   July 25, 2008
Purchased for $99 on Amazon for my wife's Kia Sportage. First trip was to Elkins, WV - Niagara Falls, NY - Hershey, PA - New Market, Va then back home to Emporia, Va. Took my Garmin C330 as a back-up but never needed it. The Pharos 150 worked flawlesly and was easy to use. One feature that we really liked was the "Pedestrian" feature. Its a great feature for sight seeing on foot, the Pharos being small and light enough to keep with you all the time. Great for an adventure out on foot when looking for restaurants, ATM, etc. The interface of the Pharos isnt quite as well laid out as my Garmin, but it dosent take long to get used to it. I would recommend the Pharos 150 to anyone that wants a GPS. I may even purchase another for my daughter if they come back down to $99.

5 out of 5 stars Works well   July 25, 2008
This is a really nice inexpensive GPS. It tells you the street as well as the direction - something my previous units didn't do. The maps are easy to read, the unit is plug and play, and overall it's a very nice unit for the price.

Plus it's pink :)

A very versatile gps tool, with potential beyond its advertised capabilities. a very functional interface. It could be improved with additional map resources and upgradability, but its well worth the price as is.
