5 out of 5 stars These are not audophile headphones -- so they sound great!   January 28, 2007

These are the best sounding earbuds I've encountered so far. I like DEEP bass and balanced mids and clear highs and this product delivers. I've tried
Etymotic ER6 buds and was wowed by the brilliant highs but severly disapointed with the TOTAL lack of bass they produced. The Bass Freqs are superb for the low end and great on the mid and pretty decent on the high end -- they do not sound muddy, but aren't 'brilliant' like the Etymotic buds. If you have an adjustable EQ on your player (like on my Sandisk Sansa e280) you can boost the high end frequencies to taste -- problem solved for me.

If you listen to bass heavy music (think Enigma, Black Eyed Peas, etc...) then these won't disapoint and you'll really appreciate V-moda for not trying to be audiophile buds and giving bass loving, EQ using folk out there an option to get great sound without costing an arm and a leg. I've already got 2 more Bass Freqs on order as backup and will probably buy more as I've not found anything that works so well with my listening preferences!

3 out of 5 stars Bass Freq earbuds a disappointment   January 28, 2007
After reading many reviews I decided to replace my broken Sony MDR-EX71 with these. I had high hopes after reading tons of positive reviews on Cnet and amazon. These earbuds are Mediocre at best. These should have been called "Only bass Freq" The bass is very loud for earbuds, however muddy... the mids and highs sound like they were filtered through a sick cat burried in the sand. If bass is what your looking for and I mean bass only, give um a try.

Had difficulty find what I needed. These are priced right and very comfortable.

I love these headphones. The name is kind of weak though. They fit perfectly into my ear and work great.

The earbuds were delivered on time and they looked good. They were in use for two weeks before they broke.
