These headphones are MUCH better than the ipod headphones and also way more comfortable. Before trying these, we tried some Phillips and several other brands, but these were the best sounding. We've purchased several pair because everyone in our family fights over them. There may be better headphones out there, but not at this price. Ours have lasted a long time--we've just now had one pair go out on one side and that's after several years of being toted around by kids, in the car, tangled up in a backpack etc--we are hard on equipment so I can recommend them. The bass sound is excellent and the small size goes a long way to keeping your ears from being sore!

These are better than any of the cheaper in-ear headphones I have used. They are louder with more bass. I got mine free with Pepsi points.

I have had these headphones for two months and have both great and terrible things to say. The overall sound quality is fantastic, you really cannot do better with ear buds for under $100. Deep, rich, and full of bass.
However, the ear buds themselves have broken three times now. The right one broke came apart once, glued it back together (no actual effect on sound since it stayed wired together... just in two pieces), and then again with another glue session. The left bud just now broke for the first time. Again, this doesn't affect the sound quality at all, but it is extremely annoying and the glue makes them pretty unsightly.
And in the past two weeks, the wire itself has gone a bit haywire. I can only get sound if the plug is positioned perfectly in any device. These buds are on the verge of total collapse!
So I whole-heartedly recommend these to anyone, just don't make the mistake I did and throw the receipt out. Unless the ear buds are stored very carefully all of the time, they will break. Easily.
Great Product November 5, 2008
I purchased the V-MODA Bass Freq Earbuds about a month ago and I cannot live without them. I was a little worried from the comment about too much bass but that is not the case it is just right. These are the best earbuds I have ever owned! I highly recommend this product.
Terrible Product November 3, 2008
The headset only lasted me one week before one of the ear pieces broke. Cheaply made and I don't recomend this product.
