 Works as Advertised! November 16, 2008
I took it out of the box, hooked it up and was using it within 15 minutes. I receive stations I did not receive with just an antenna.
My only complaint, it makes weird sounds with fringe stations when the signal fades in and out.

I'm pretty impressed by this little machine. It was very easy and quick to set up. The menus are very simple and the remote is pretty basic - just what I was looking for. Just connect the antenna and the TV and it's good to go. The reception is absolutely FANTASTIC! I live in suburban Boston, so your mileage may vary, but I get a lot more stations that I used to (from something like 5 to 22 now) and the picture is very sharp even on my old tube TV. I haven't had to mess with the antenna since I hooked it up. I'm not really a big TV watcher, but I think I might start watching it more since I don't have to wrestle with the rabbit ears to get a decent picture. If you are one of the few holdouts who doesn't have cable or satellite TV (like myself), this is highly recommended.

I am glad I ordered 2 of these boxes from Amazon when they were available! I have installed these boxes for 2 of my old TV sets and I can't believe how clear the reception is! For the price after goverment rebate I think it's a great deal! It came with all easy to install and program instructions and it gets all local HD channels. I hope to get years of enjoyment out of a small investment! Thank you so much Amazon for the free and speedy delivery!

I am very satisfied with this product. Programming is easy to understand and the picture quality is excellent. I wish it has more functions to control my TV. But for the price, it is a good buy.
