5 out of 5 stars wireless headphones   June 15, 2008
These are great headphones. A bit large and bulky, but have great sound and reception. All around the house, outside up to a half block away, maybe even further. Fine tuning is a nice feature. Easy to set up for use, only drawback is there is no place to hang them. Just have to lay them down wherever. I would reccomened these to anyone looking for wireless. Good product, great price. I read lots of reviews and decided the Sennheiser RS-110 was the best. Remanufactured, but came in like new condition.

3 out of 5 stars HORRIBLE instructions   June 15, 2008

The instructions to these headphones are horrible! They didn't even mention that in order for the receiver to work properly, the thing that you are connecting it to has to be on as well. In other words, these headphones are all about synchronization. I figured this out the hard way. Thank god my mother found this out, or else I would have sent these headphones back today!

I'm enjoying and they work perfectly, good quality, couldn't be happier. i would definately recommend the Sennheiser brand.

5 out of 5 stars Pretty Good!   June 2, 2008
I brought this as a gift for my dad, so I don't personally know how good it is, but my dad LOVES it! He wanted something w/o a cord so that he could listen to music while working on yardwork while giving him a good range and he says that it does just that. He hasn't had any complaints yet!

5 out of 5 stars Great Value   May 30, 2008

I bought these and more expensive wired pair of Sennheisers from two different vendors at about the same time. Both were backordered...but the wait (a couple of weeks) was worth it. They both sound great. With the wireless pair, I get a little interference as I move about the house, but much better that another cordless set I had. Given my environment here I expect the RF to get in the way...at least a little bit. The only thing that took some getting used to, with this wireless pair, is that the base unit shuts down shortly after the audio signal stops. Then static comes through the phones. This was a real drag...cause I was wearing them to bed...and it woke me up with a start. Not sure if this is a design problem, but I am using them with my computer, and I found the solution to the "blink out" problem to be setting the player to repeat play. It took awhile to figure that one out, I was starting to think they were broken, before I did. I hope this tip is useful to another buyer. They don't score well for noise cancelling, but I wasn't looking for that in this pair, my house and yard are pretty quite. Though they are big, I found this pair to be comfortable, even when sleeping on my side. Another reviewer, who's comments I read before I bought them, said that they were large and fell off his head. I found this to be true, as well, but only when I look straight down. I was expecting it, so I caught them the very first time. Now I just hold on if I have to look down...this I can do. I bought lithium batteries, to start out and they lasted for weeks of moderately heavy use. Now I am on my second pair. They take AAAs and I've have picked up some rechargables, too. Changing the batteries is a snap. Overall a wonderful headset and the refurbished one is a REALLY great value.
