Great price, not sure about the product October 7, 2008 Product arrived on time and as described, however I am not too happy with the quality.
Since plugging up this cable I have noticed some scan lines occasionally appearing especially when picture is static. I am not sure if this is a problem with the cable or my TV itself, but I did not have these lines when using component cables. I'll have to give another brand of cable a try to diagnose the signal noise. If its the cable, I really can't complain since the price was so low. You get what you pay for. Others seem to have no complaints with the cable so I certainly wouldn't dissuade anyone from giving the cable a try for the price it's at.
Great Product....Poor Shipping October 7, 2008 The cable works great! I would never recommend purchasing HDMI cables from circuit city type stores unless you just want to throw away money. However, the item was supposed to ship right away by priority mail but I didn't receive it until 17 days later. When I contacted the vendor they gave me a $5 credit towards $18 shipping fee. Still $13 was too much to pay for the slowest mail service available in the US
Simply Amazing For The Money October 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Why would you spend over 25 dollars for this cable? I don't know but I'm sure you have before. We have all gone to your near by electronics store to purchase the specific cabling you need for your particular setup and decided on what you want but right before you can grab it and get on with your day someone in a Blue or Red shirt come out of know where and offer some advise. Before you know it your looking at gold plated "miracle" cables that work like Magic. Sorry to say I used to be one of those guys except in a suit and tie and selling cables that no ordinary Joe could afford. I will be straight up with you, there is no difference between those 100 dollars + cables and this "cheapy". HDMI is a digital signal so it isn't degraded over either distance or impeded due to shielding or what they call "quality". Instead it is sent via digital coding "binary code" and is either there 100% or not at all. Same with a toslink or optical cable. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU HAVE A 500 DOLLAR OR 5 DOLLAR CABLE. Trust me.
Also food for thought; this is the cheapest spot on the net I have seen yet so don't hesitate.
Great Cables for the Money October 6, 2008 Package arrived in a very timely manner. Cables were of equivalent quality as the ones at the big box stores. The big box stores price are $20 or more for HDMI cables. This HDMI cable is great. They give a great High definition picture from my DVD player to TV and also reception is in HD from Satellite reciever to TV. Buy them they are great for the price.
great value for a fraction of the price October 6, 2008 You do not have to spend 40, 50, 60 dollars or more on a hdmi cable. This one works just fine.
