just plug into your speaker and s-video slot and puts image on tv through rca plugs. exactly what i was looking for.

100% what it says it is. And works great with the S-video connector that comes on the newer laptops. We use it to watch downloaded videos from family and friends in Quicktime and Media Player format on the TV, we even tried you tube flash movies, and that worked Ok as well. This is a lot better than gathering round the PC, but lacks the cornball feeling of the super8 and a sheet over the TV for family movies. Not having to watch home movies on the PC, priceless.

Originally i had bought this because some of the videogames i play i like to listen to the music. so i had the audio & video hooked up to the game system, and the computer plugs plugged in the computer. It did its job and i loved it, just turn on the recorder in the computer and convert the WMV format to MP3 and i have my music. Although i also tried it again and it allowed me to put the audio & video of the tv to the computer (which it was originally designed for) and it came out crystal clear. However 12ft is kinda short. if i were you id get the 50ft cable cuase you might have to move the tv or computer to get them to reach like i did!

Buying locally was about impossible and expensive. This company delivered very fast and the cables are great. Got the longer ones since I often use motel TVs and it is hard to find a good place to rest the laptop.

i go thtis for my boyfriend to hook his pc to the tv but pcs dont have the hookup for it. my dell laptop however, works great. i used it to put bit torrent files on my tv and it worked great. the quality is fine for me even though i dont have an hd tv and my laptop is an 06 i think... so not that old. the quality is bad when its just the home screen, but once you start the movie the quality is fine. i would really recommend it actually. its great is you dont have cable or a dvd player and you just watch alot of movies and downloaded stuff. once my freind saqw it in use, he ordered one too, so yeah i think its great.... but dont try it for a pc
