Great Product September 30, 2008 I can't believe how useful this tool is. I bought one for use at work and immediately started using it. I've had it for about 2 weeks and can't believe how many different times I've used it. Now, I want one at home.
Works great September 30, 2008 I use this to transfer HD video from my 16GB SD card. I just leave it plugged into my usb port and plug the card in when needed. Works great.
Sandisk with cap September 30, 2008 Sandisk Mobile Mate is an excellent buy for the money. Just put your memory card in it, and bring it up on my computer and your ready to go.
Good if/while it works, bad when it breaks... September 26, 2008 It's a nice form factor, and worked fine /when/ it worked. One day pulled it back out of the drawer and it would read 'normal' sd cards, but not sdhc cards. Went to Sandisk support - which requires back and forth via a web site (can't do e-mail) and trying to get an RMA was like pulling teeth. I finally decided it would be easier to buy a new reader. I bought a Kingston MobileLite and it required no more hassle and is working /much/ better (8.3MB/sec on a low price sdhc card). I've bought Sandisk products for years - and most have worked well, but this support experience convinced me to go with other brands.
Fantabulous. September 19, 2008 I bought this for use when traveling so I could upload pictures to e-mail and to post on Facebook. Worked great. The only complaint I had was not with the device but the computers I was using. PCs especially, don't seem to want using this to be easy and a little searching was required to find the correct drive. Once found though everything went smoothly. I plugged it into my Mac however and it pulled it up and recognized it immediately. I now carry it in my everyday bag along with my camera for easy uploading of pics wherever I go.
