There's too much to write about the 2nd generation Ipod Touch... the user interface, the sound quality and the amazing Safari browser... untouchable by its competion - that sums it up :-)
Fun and intuitive to use November 17, 2008
I gave the iTouch as a gift. She loves it and though she has never had an mp3 player till now she quickly mastered the basics of its many functions.

Haven't set up yet but hope to soon. Loved my Classic iPod but lost it in a fire and am replacing with the iTouch... the thing that sucks is that you lose all your downloaded CD's and all the music you purchased thru iTunes because it's linked to only that particular iPod and it's serial number and the laptop you used.... all of which I lost in the fire. Apple needs to come up with a way to be able to give you back what is yours in cases such as this, IMO.

I'm a major gadget geek, must admit. The iPod Touch is tied for the best thing I've ever bought (with my MacBook Pro and PS3). I use it for everything, especially since it has apps from the App Store.
Not only do I use it for music, movies, games, internet, email, etc. I have apps for grocery lists, news, Pandora radio, a checkbook balance, pdf viewer, so on and so on. I use it for literally everything.
It's thin, light, and the touch screen is amazing.
I also use Nike+ iPod with this and it works awesome. Really adds a bit of fun to your everyday routine.
I could go on and on and on...this is hands down, the most useful gadget ever. :)
Oh, Amazon is saying this is for the 8GB, even though I bought the 16GB. If you plan to put a lot of apps/music/movies on your Touch, you may want to at least get the 16GB, if not the 32GB.
Good product November 16, 2008
I purchased this I-Pod for my 14 yr. old daughter and she loves it. You will need to download i-tunes 8.0 on your computer. The i-pod will surf the net quickly. Easy set up. Great music player. We have the 8 GB model and it holds all of her music fine. I would recommend this product. Check out the I-Phone though, you might can purchase 1 product instead of 2!
