5 out of 5 stars XFX GeForce 6200 256MB DDR2 TV DVI   January 20, 2007

I got the agp type XFX GeForce 6200 256MB DDR2 TV DVI video card and this thing is awsome. It brings your graphics to life. No slow downs, flicker or trouble of any kind. I've had other video cards before but this thing kicks all their butts. The price was very good (only around $60.00) and I've heard that it is actually better than cards 3 or 4 times the price and I believe it. I would highly recommend it! I needed agp for my needs at the time and it works great but it also comes available in pci express so if you have one of these slots all i can say is go for it since its like 8X's faster than agp. I hope that GeForce does not discontinue this card or will atleast continue to use the formula they used to make it!

I was looking for a cheap video card that would let my girlfriend play World of Warcraft on her 6 year old 1.6GHz P4. Knowing that I'll be building her a new computer soon, I just wanted to get the job done. This card fits the bill. Without any in-game tuning (using the video setting defaults) she is able to play without too much interuption or skipping. (When she gets in a city it gets pretty bad though.) The card worked right out of the box. Windows XP SP2 didn't have native drivers, and the ones on the CD were very old, but a download from NVidia's website and it was up and running quick. This model is fanless, which is nice, because there are less moving parts to fail. All in all, I got exactly what I expected for $57, and few headaches. I also like the nice small boxes video cards come in now (most software titles too), gone are the days of having to pay extra shipping or store mammoth boxes for small items.
