I am not a computer guy at all. But I took my computer to a guy that is when I was having trouble viewing certain videos. He told me that I needed to upgrade my video card. So, naturally I went to Amamzon.com for my research and decided on this one. My computer guy told me that this was such a great deal at a great price and he will probably order a few for his own purposes.

I bought this card after my video card died. Had to reinstall all software sicne this was only discovered after pulling down the system completely. :(. Anyway, it was an AGP card so I bought this baby. Installed, and it worked beautifully. Easiest software installation for along time.
No conflicts and it is significantly quicker than my older card and gives great screen resolution.
An economical way to upgrade your system. A bargain buy.
Great card for a low spects PC March 26, 2008
I want to upgrade my PC in regular basis, but the money is an issue when buying. So I look for a graphics card that let me play something modern, like Farcry or FEAR. This does exactly that. Has a great price, its easy to install. An I'm never installed a card before. And the performance is remacable. Only you need to be sure that your mother card has an AGP expansion space. Its not so easy to find out.

Had no probs with Amazon or the video card. Easy install. No fan on the card, so, obviously, it's quiet. Using computer for movies, internet, and general use. For our purposes, it works great. The original card was bad and caused the screen to go black intermittently. With this new card, the problem is completely gone. Had to disable the hardware accelerator in PowerDVD to get movies to run properly without crashing. For a general use computer this video card is fine. But, not sure how it would hold up under a serious gaming scenario. Computer is a 2002 Dell Dimension 4500, Pentium 4, 2 GHz, 1GB RAM, 22in LCD.

Had to buy a new video card for my Dimension 8300 because the old one would not display graphics any longer.Didn't want to break the bank on an old computer so i picked this card up at amazon for $41.The reviews i read were accurate as this is a pretty good card for the money.It displays the higher screen resolutions of todays flat panel monitors and the few games that we play run much smoother now.I'm so thrilled with the performance boost i went out and bought 2gb of memory to really supercharge my aging Dell.
