If you've already sunk the money in for the speakers you might as well get the stand built just for the speaker. The base is heavy, and they are easy to put together. I thought that I would constantly notice them, but it's surprising how unobtrusive they are. And they put the speaker at just the right height.

These speaker stand are very sturdy and light weight. I like the fact that i don't have to put holes in the wall to hang my rear speakers anymore. They are just the right height and I am very satisfy with these speaker stand.

The Bose universal floor stands are just what I was looking for.
Last year we purchased the Bose home theatre and these stands happen to be a perfect match for the speakers. We have the stands on wooden floor and they are very sturdy. The design is sleek and gives a modern look.
We are very happy with the purchase.
Functional and sturdy November 10, 2007
Nothing to special about these and given that they are Bose they are definitely overpriced. However they very sturdy in design, and functional in that they hide the wires very well. I have the Cinemate system and would have preferred wall mounting them however my situation didn't allow me that option. I do like the sleekness of the stands and have no regrets in the purchase.
